Baxter Seminary / Upperman High School Alumni Association Board
 The Baxter Seminary / Upperman High Alumni Association Board at the 2019 Alumni Banquet Duties The Alumni Association Board has two major responsiblities: The Baxter Seminary / Upperman High Association Banquet and the Baxter Seminary / Upperman High Alumni Association Scholarships. The Baxter Seminary / Upperman High School Alumni Banquet is held on the first Saturday in May each year. The classes celebrating their 50th and 25th year anniversaries are honored. The President of the 50th Anniversary class, or their designee, speaks about their class's time at school and individually introduces attendees of the 50th Anniversary class that are present. College scholarships are awarded to deserving seniors at the banquet where they are introduced to members of the alumni attending the banquet. Charter The By laws of the association limit dispersal of funds to education related spending. Funding The Annual Banquet is the only formal fund raising function each year. Donations from supporting alumni, companies, or organizations are welcome at any time. Meetings Meetings are generally held semi-annually. Members . . . Scholarships Normally two scholarships are awarded each year. The first Scholarship was awarded in 1973. |
